Semi-Epic trip

Postby Fadi » Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:04 am

I'm planning a 2/3 cross country drive in Feb. Been too long since I've had an adventure, and too long since I had a vacation.

Leaving DC Mid Feb, going down through ATL to end up somewhere in New Mexico. Go camping, watch the stars, then north a little and head back by I-40. w00t.

Right now I'm doing maint on the Mighty M to get it ready for the trip. New tires installed on the weekend (new to me, on '02 SE wheels). Also took out the Hard Dog Deuce bar and installed the Had Dog Hard Core.

Things I need:
Alignment
All fluids changed
New clutch MC

Have lots of good tunes for the drive across Texas. Got cruise control I hope.

I did a big loop around the country all the way to Ak back in 80. Couldn't imagine doing it now (especially in a Yada).

Enjoy the adventure, you won't be sorry. :thumb:
